He induces a person to realise that world domination and self control are of no use, if they do not serve the purpose of self-knowledge. This card can also point to a conventional marriage, or a spiritual union of soul mates. When looking for your true love, you may meet someone on your same level, through mutal religious or spiritual interests.

As you gain self-knowledge and an understanding of life, you are capable of making a choice and decisions that will affect your future and destiny. Like the Magician, the Lovers card shows that poor choices are better than hesitations and not doing anything. You could begin a new affair, or end an old one. Engagement or marriage to someone could happen very soon, you could also be involved some sort of choice or trial. There will be no turning back once you have made your choice.
 

THE CHARIOT

This card indicates choices having been made, you may now face the obstacles of life, test yourself, and experience the joy of victory or the bitterness of failure, from which lessons
are to be learned. The Chariot also represents the power of the will, reminding you not to get distracted, or lose sight of your goals. Your personal life may feel cut off from your family and friends. You may need to bridge the gap between work and home, for your life to progress successfully, on both a material and emotional level.
