Psychic Spirit Realm

Mystics, clairvoyants, individuals who have had out-of-body or near-death experiences have provided diverse descriptions. of the spiritual realm.

One type of explanation is dismissive, classing the psychic experience as hallucination, fraud, error, or overactive imagination.

Another type is the scientific approach, by rationally demistifying the encounter, and explaining the contact as a result of physical deprivation or illness.

When we get ready to incarnate into physical life our spiritual essence builds subtle bands of energy around itself. They enable our spiritual essence to integrate harmoniously, and serve as a bridge by which we can extend our consciousness from the physical to those more subtle and spiritual realms of life when we are born.

These realms comprise part of our auric field. Your aura is the three-dimensional energy field that surrounds your physical body in all directions. When you learn to harmonize all of the subtle energies and attune to them, we open yourself to the spirit that lives in this spiritual realm.

The stronger your auric field, the easier it is to attune to these subtle energies and forms of spirit, including your guides. The weaker your energy field is, you are more likely to draw negative influences from the spirit realm.

Types of Spirit Guides

Spirit guides can be a very diverse group of entities. Some human, some non-human.

Non-human guides can evolve with humanity, but are not part of its life stream. Angels, devas, nature spirits and totem animals, are examples of this. They can have a very real and subtle influence upon you.

The human kind of guide can be living or dead.  The living we may encounter as ordinary individuals who are out of their bodies, at night while we are asleep. There can be individuals who have trained themselves to consciously leave their bodies and withdraw their energy and consciousness to those more subtle realms through astral projection. Life masters, adepts or individuals who are spiritually developing, and very aware in a psychic sense.

This type of spirit guide are individuals who are still living within the physical. Encounters with this kind of guide are often not as recognizable as those who have passed over such as family, or friends.  This type of spirit guide can also be those who are preparing and waiting to reincarnate. Contact with this type of spirit is through the etheric and astral energy left behind by the deceased as theyv withdraw from physical life, ghosts and apparitions can fall into this category.

It often applies to those who have lived upon the earth at one time but are now working from the spiritual realm to grow. These individuals serve as guides, teachers, healers, etc. to people within the physical realm. A great many of our spirit guides come from this source. Modern spiritualism has categorized and identified the tasks these guides may perform.
